About
Cheryl Deagon is the owner of Arranging Places and is a certified Interior Redesigner and Home Stager serving clients in the greater Sacramento area. She is professionally trained and is a member of the nationally recognized and accredited Interior Redesign Industry Specialists (IRIS) Organization. She is also a contributor and Assistant Editor of the IRIS newsletter.
Cheryl’s first job, at age 16, was selling draperies and home furnishings at the Homemaker Shop in Livonia, Michigan. Even back then, she had a love for interior design and color, and was already rearranging furniture to give rooms a whole new look. “I am so fortunate to do work that I am passionate about. It’s fun and rewarding to see the changes that can be made in a home without spending a lot of money or buying anything new. Your home should be a reflection of who you are and express your unique personality and lifestyle.”
Every redesign and staging project has its own unique challenges. Cheryl has found that her formal training and experience allows her to offer innovative and satisfying results for her clients. “After all, that is what it’s all about – creating, enhancing or transforming people’s environments and producing results that they are truly passionate about.”
Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan and has designed computer systems for over 20 years. As a business owner and consultant, listening to her client’s needs and creatively solving their problems and exceeding their expectations is nothing new to her. “My business experience combined with my interior design and color training allows me to provide room rearrangements creatively and quickly to save my client’s both time and money.”
Sharing her talents and supporting those who are less fortunate has always been important to Cheryl. Arranging Places is a proud sponsor of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition and donates services to charitable organizations including Habitat for Humanity and The Child Abuse Prevention Center.
